K2 Space was tasked by Spanish office furniture manufacturer Famo to design and fit out their new 3,500 sq ft showroom in Clerkenwell, London. The aim was to showcase Famo’s range of products in an inspiring way for their clients and staff. The building had an industrial look with original timber flooring and cast iron columns featured throughout the space. K2 Space worked closely with Famo to create individual room sets that would showcase their products. The showroom also included meeting rooms and a central feature breakfast bar made from curved Corian.
Incorporating Brand Values
K2 Space’s team worked closely with Famo to understand their brand values and design preferences. The result was a showroom that was modern and stylish, yet functional and practical for Famo’s clients and staff. The use of natural materials and a neutral colour palette created a calming atmosphere that complemented the furniture on display.
Designing a Central Feature Breakfast Bar with Corian
The breakfast bar was the centerpiece of the showroom, and K2 Space used innovative design techniques to create a curved Corian structure that would stand out. The bar was designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with integrated lighting and storage solutions.
